Holiday Gift Ideas for Golfers in 2022 (That Don't Suck!)

If you’re anything like me, you’ve read through a couple articles like this every year to try and find great gifts for the golfers in your life (or yourself). Unfortunately, most of those articles are terrible. They’re full of bad ideas, things that a company paid to have featured, cheesy gimmicks, or the gifts aren’t reasonable in price.

You’ll find none of that here. I wanted to make a list of golf gift ideas that were actually unique, not cheesy, and reasonable in price. In short, things they’ll love and actually use and appreciate…what a novel idea! Whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah, a birthday, Thanksgiving (do people give gifts for Thanksgiving?) or something else completely, this is the season of giving great gifts.

Anyway, I know most people will skip over this part and just scroll straight down to the items featured, so let’s just get going to the list of gifts that every golfer will love…

Tip: Don’t gift shoes, clothes, gloves, balls, or clubs. Those are all very personal items that a golfer wants to pick out on their own because the fit or type matters significantly. (Polos can be fine, but make sure you’ve got the right size and style.)

(note: I’ve divided these up by price. So, feel free to jump down to the price range that corresponds with how much you love the person you’re buying for.)

Under $25 (ish)

Ocoopa Rechargeable Hand Warmers ($25.99):

Golfers can be a bit crazy. We’re willing to play in almost any weather conditions. If you know a golfer like that, consider getting them a gift that’ll keep them comfortable on those chilly days. The Ocoopa Rechargeable Hand Warmer is great for keeping a players hands ready to swing.

Puttdots ($14.99):

The puttdots are a simple training aid, but provide huge value. Very simply, they’re raised rubber stickers a person can put on their putter face to practice hitting the center of the face. If the center of the face is missed, it’ll shoot the ball off in a different direction, letting the person know a change needs to be made.

Under $50

GolfLogix Green Book ($40):

Tour pros get access to in-depth green reading books every tournament week. Unfortunately, amateur golfers don’t often get the same privilege, but with GolfLogix Green Books, anyone can get the same information to help their game. Buying one of the books for the course your loved one plays most is a great way to help them lower their scores.

Ballnamic Ball Fitting ($39):

Buying golf balls for someone can be hit and miss. It’s a very personal item and few players will play just any golf ball. They probably have very specific taste, but sometimes that’s still not the correct ball for them. Ballnamic is a ball fitting that will tell them exactly which ball plays best for their game.

JBL Clip 3 ($49.95):

Does the person you’re buying a gift for like to have fun on the golf course? If they’re not too uptight, they’ll probably be in to some tunes while playing. The JBL Clip 3 is a great way to crank up the fun. It’s got great sound, size, and conveniently clips to their golf bag.

Under $100

Golf Course Blueprint ($60):

Is there a course that you know the person you’re buying for really loves? Maybe one that’s on their bucket list? Or maybe, just maybe, they’re really into the movie Caddyshack? Whatever it is, check out a golf course blueprint. It’s a simple, but really cool piece of art that can be hung in any office, basement, or room and look great.

BirdieBall Indoor Putting Green (from $90):

Most golfers I know already have an indoor putting green to practice in the off-season or off-days. If not, the birdieball indoor putting green is a really great, high-quality option. You can make it custom sizes to fit any room in the house. If they’re one of the few who don’t have one, you’ll make their day giving them their first.

Under $200

Top US Golf Courses Push Pin Travel Map ($149.99):

Every golfer has a bucket list of courses they want to play in their lifetime. Most of those are found in the list of top golf courses. So, getting them a framed map of all the top golf courses is a great way for them to track their progress (or lack thereof) and dream of the next fun stop.

Theragun mini ($199):

We’re all getting a bit older…that’s how time works…and if a golfer wants to continue playing and playing often, they need to recover from the previous round. A Theragun mini is a massage tool that can help loosen up stiff muscles before or after a round of golf. They can even keep it in their bag and use it mid-round.

Now you can go give a really great gift to the golfer in your life this holiday season.
